My review
Once again, Sarah J Maas blew my mind. This book was written beautifully and I couldn't have asked for more. I love love love the characters:
Celaena: I love the person that Celaena became throughout the book- at first she was a broken girl, who was running away from the horrors from her past, but she changed to be the onfident, brave queen Aelin Ashryver Galathynius! I quote the last line of the book: "She was Aelin Ashryver Galathynius - and she would not be afraid." Love that excerpt!
Rowan: I was kind of disappointed at first that there wasn't much of Chaol in the book, but then again, there's ROWAN!!! (I've totally added him to one of my book crushes <3) I really like how Rowan and Celaena both lost their "mates" and I really want them to end up together in the end, especially since they spent so much time together when Celaena was training with him. <3
Dorian: I was really happy that Dorian moved on and fell in love with Sorscha, instead of moping around like Chaol about Celaena. When Sorscha died I was all "WTF?!?!"... I guess that's the only part I didn't like about the book... Other than the fact that the King now has Dorian under his control :'(
Manon Blackbeak, heir to the Blackbeak Witch-­Clan: I don't really get why her POV was in the book, but then again, her "people" were working with the King in return for the wyverns. I think a part of her is good, especially since she seems different than the other witches in other clans. I also think she might be good, since she saved Petrah, (another witch) when the witches are supposed to be merciless, but she showed an act of kindness.
Queen Maeve: I don't really have to say anything about her except the fact that I despise her. I really don't like that she made Celaena to go through all the training just to go see her, to tell Celaena what Celaena mostly already knew. Though, I guess Celaena did find some answers from her, but I still don't like her at all.
Overall, this book is AMAZING and I recommend it to everyone! :)

In my opinion, I thought the first 2 books in the series were ok, but they didn't really capture my attention. Though, I LOVED the 3rd, 4th, and 5th books in the series. The plot was well written, but at times in a few books, I thought that it could use some more emotion, and a bit more detail. I also really liked reading about the characters, and this is one of the book series that I couldn't put down until I finished it.
Sydney and Adrian: I TOTALLY ship them!!!!! Though, the one thing that would've made it better was that if Adrian finally stopped drinking... Otherwise, I've added him to my list of book crushes ;)
Keith: I really didn't like him, but after I read about what happened to him, I kind of felt really bad for him.
Jill: At first, I thought Jill was "with" Adrian, since she was always going to see him, but then I found out that she had a bond with him. I always hoped that Jill would end up together with Eddie as well.
Zoe: I despise her. Period. That's basically all I have to say about her. At first, I thought I'd like her, especially since Sydney cared about her so much, but when she turned Sydney in... Well, now I despise her.

“My God, Sage. Your eyes. How have I never noticed them?"

That uncomfortable feeling was spreading over me again. "What about them?"

"The color," he breathed. "When you stand in the light. They're amazing... like molten gold. I could paint those..." He reached toward me but then pulled back. "They're beautiful. You're beautiful.”

Inescapable: Amy A Bartol

Normally, I think books about angels aren't that good, but there's a difference between books about angels by Amy A Bartol than other books about angels. My point is, this series is one of my favourites and I loved it. Currently, I own the first book Inescapable and I've reread it 5 times. I love Reed and he's one of my book crushes. I also liked the characters Buns and Brownie. I'm looking forward to reading Amy's latest book Under Different Stars that I've requested at the library and I hope it's as amazing as the Premonition series!
I've also had the privilege to MEET Amy A Bartol and I met her back at the end of 2013.
I recommend this series to anyone that's just looking for a good book about angels or just a good book!

Summary:When Horace travels to the exotic land of Nihon- Ja, it isn't long before he finds himself pulled into a battle that is not his - but one he knows in his heart he must wage. A kingdom teeters on the edge of chaos when the Nihon-Ja emperor, a defender of the common man, is forcibly overthrown, and only Horace, Will, and his Araluen companions can restore the emperor to the throne. Victory lies in the hands of an inexperienced group of fighters, and it's anybody's guess who will make the journey home to Araluen.

In my opinion, this book is my favourite in the entire series. Once again, I loved the plot, and the characters were hilarious. Here are some of my favourite highlights of the book:
Nicknames!: The nicknames that the Emperor gave Will and Horace were absolutely hilarious. I loved the part when Will found out that his nickname (Chocho) meant "Butterfly" after his "speech" during the battle. He was named that for his imagination. Horace's nickname Kurokuma (Black Bear) was equally funny, especially when he found he was called that from his hearty appetite, and not from his "prodigious strength and mighty prowess in battle."
Alyss and Cassandra/Evanlyn: The drama between them about Will was hilarious, especially when Alyss didn't realize that Evanlyn was in love with Horace, and not with Will. I quote "'Will? What about Will? What is it about you about me and Will?' 'Because you're in love with him! You're the princess and you think you can have anything you want, and you want Will. Any fool can see that!' 'Then I'm afraid you're the fool, Alyss Mainwaring, because I am not in love with Will. I'm in love with Horace.' 'Of course you are! Don't deny it! you...' Alyss suddenly realized what the princess had said and floundered to a stop. 'You're what?' she said...'"
And last but not least...
The Ending: I LOVED the romance at the ending, especially when Will "proposed" to Alyss really "wrong", as quoted. I was really happy when I read that Horace and Cassandra/Evanlyn were getting married, and I think they're an amazing couple!
I highly recommend this to everyone, because it's just AMAZING!!!!!! :D

When I first heard there was a third book to this series, I thought Why? I like the ending of the second book and now there's going to be a new plot. I can honestly say I wasn't too pleased at that idea, and I'm still not. I really liked the book, but in a way, the ending disappointed me. I had the picture in my mind that the ending would be way better than the second book, and was excited to read it, but in my opinion, I was wrong. My friend read the book as well, and she loved it, so maybe its just me.
The reason I didn't like the ending was because I wanted more detail of what happened between the Syrena and Half-Breeds. Instead, it just ended, so if it had more detail about that, I would've rated it 4 stars. I'd be happy of Anna Banks wrote a short story of that, but then again, I don't want there to be another plot.
Also, when Reed came in, I was thinking Oh no! There's going to be another love triangle (which I hate). I hope Emma chooses Galen over him! I thought that she would choose Reed I've Galen, since he was like her, especially since she thought that Galen had left her. I'm happy that they worked it out in the end, with Emma in love with Galen still. Not to mention that I LOVED their mating ceremony. It was so romantic wih their own little island, and I really liked the part when they got on their knees!!!!!!! ♥♥♥
I really enjoyed reading this series, and I look forward to reading the short stories (in which I haven't read yet) in this series. :D

Blood of Eden Series by Julie Kagawa

This book was AMAZING. It was a wonderful end of the series, and it was written beautifully. This book was written in a way that just captures your mind. I can't even describe how powerful it was. It was a very sad book, but amazing still altogether. The characters:
Allison~ I loved how she was going to do anything to get Zeke back and that was very romantic. She is a nice person, no matter what "monster" she believes she is. Overall, she's my favourite character, which is different than normal: I usually like minor characters, but Allison is by far my favourite of all my favourite series. Braveness is a very powerful trait to have, and I admire that in her. Even though she craved blood, she still fought back at her nature of being a vampire to not hurt anyone.
Zeke~ He is a very positive person, and if he were alive, and not in a book, I'd love to meet him. His relationship with Allison was heartbreaking at points, and I'm extremely glad that they worked it out in the end when he became a vampire. I'm glad he didn't die, since when I read that part, I was stricken with grief. I like that he was a very compassionate person even though the things he faced.
This book has a powerful effect, and if you haven't read this, I recommend you do so, especially if you're looking for a series with romance and action.

I don't even know what to say: this book was AWESOME!!!
I LOVED it!!!! I really liked the characters Katy and Daemon (*Sigh* Daemon...), though I didn't like the "new" Dee or Carissa. I especially DESPISE Blake, for what he did. I couldn't believe that HE, of all people would do something as horrible as what he did (I'm trying not to give any spoilers).[ Blake, for what he did. No, I HATE Blake. Yes, that sounds better (hide spoiler)]
I also liked that there was more romance between Katy and Daemon! ♥!!
Though, I loved this book, I WAS NOT READY FOR THE ENDING.
I'm still kind of in shock... I really hate cliff-hangers, and I'm itching to get my hands on the next the next book.
It's just so... WOW. ;)
Also, if you know me, I'm in love with Jennifer L Armentrout's writing and this book is one of my favs, and I'd recommend this series first, out of all my recommendations!
